Jay Seigel is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State Univsersity (B.A., 1993, in Communications) and is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Mr. Seigel graduated from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College (J.D., 1998). While attending Law School, Mr. Seigel participated in the Moot Court Program, received the Oral Advocacy in Law Award and also worked at the Portland Oregon Legal Clinic, providing low-cost legal representation pertaining to such issues as family law, bankruptcy, foreclosure and debt collection. Additionally, in his last year of law school, and in fulfillment of his graduation requirements, Mr. Seigel authored, “Child Custody: Origins, Influences and Suggestions for Future Reform”, an in-depth examination of the child custody preferences in existence at the time. Thereafter, Mr. Seigel continued his work in the areas of family law, debt collection and greatly expanded his focus in real estate by pursuing his Real Estate Brokers’ License. As a result, Mr. Seigel is also highly proficient in the areas of foreclosure defense, short sale negotiations, landlord/tenant issues, and with the many considerations affecting your decision to purchase or sell residential property.
